In the shared exploration of ambient landscapes, Cancelled Culture, a collaborative effort between Philip Byrne and Gregor Ruigrok, emerges as a humble ode to the beauty of sonic atmospheres. Gregor, previously fond of synth-heavy compositions and field recordings in Trophy Boyfriend, joins forces with Philip, a skilled producer and former member of the electronic dance acts Arveene & Misk and Splitloop, to craft a sophisticated ambient experience.

Drawing inspiration from the likes of The Orb, Brian Eno, Tosca and Aphex Twin, Cancelled Culture unfolds as a subtle, evolving journey into introspection. Together, they bring a rich tapestry of influences to the ambient genre.
